Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder is to replace the assembly, or only replace the pump cup, should depend on the situation. If there is no obvious scratch and rust on the inner wall of the pump barrel, only the leather cup can be replaced, otherwise the assembly should be replaced. If the master cylinder and slave cylinder are replaced at the same time, the master cylinder should be replaced first and then the master cylinder. Be prepared and quick.
First, fill the prepared new pump with hydraulic oil
Then quickly remove the wheel pump and install the new pump (two people cooperate for the best).
Put the bleed bolt of the wheel cylinder upward, loosen the bolt, push the piston of the cylinder inward to let the air in the cylinder overflow and lock the bolt. Note that it is better not to exhaust the air by stepping on it. If it is only to replace the cup, the cup should be installed in advance to find another cylinder piston, take out the damaged piston, quickly install a new part. Attention: when taking out and installing the piston, the pump port should be upward to prevent the hydraulic oil from leaking out. Then exhaust the air with the above method.
If the master cylinder leaks oil, it means that the upper bowl of the master cylinder is damaged; if the pump oil pressure is insufficient, it means that the lower leather cup of the piston is damaged. In general, just change the cup according to the situation. When replacing, remove the two fixing bolts of the master cylinder, pull out a little of the master cylinder, remove the piston fixed ring on the pump barrel with the internal snap ring pliers, pull out the piston, take out the lower leather cup, quickly install the new parts in order, and push the piston back and forth with the push rod to exhaust the air, pump more hydraulic oil, and then install the snap ring. Before installing the master cylinder, be sure to adjust the master cylinder push rod to the shortest position, and then fix it. Step on the clutch pedal back and forth, and slowly adjust the master cylinder push rod until the clutch is completely separated. At this time, it should be noted that there should be a 3-4mm clearance between the release bearing and the release lever, and the free stroke of the pedal is 30-40mm. If it is necessary to replace the master cylinder assembly, first remove the oil outlet pipe, connect the new pump, then remove the oil pipe, and quickly install it on the new pump. Note: after removing the oil outlet pipe, plug the oil outlet of the old pump with a plug to avoid oil leakage; when removing the oil inlet pipe, clamp the oil inlet pipe with pliers to prevent hydraulic oil leakage from the oil pot. After the master cylinder is installed, first push the piston back and forth with the push rod to pump out the hydraulic oil. Before fixing, the push rod should also be shortened.
